Your qualities are

  • University degree in engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, physics, industrial
    engineering) or business management with a high level of electro technical
    understanding
  • More than 10 years of experience in semiconductor engineering, electronics, field
    application engineering or related business
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and risk and change
    management
  • Problem solving skills, planning, organizing, and communicating effectively
  • Cross-functional thinking in overall corporate context
  • Team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)

You´re interested in

  • Delegated responsibility for the product segment revenue, product gross margin
    and R&D spending, fulfilling the short-, mid-, and long-term targets set by the
    business line management
  • Assuring a successful, competitive and sustainable business segment product
    roadmap to fulfill the defined business targets
  • Enabling, steering and optimizing the product segment sales activities, setting
    priorities, supporting design-in activities, ensuring availability of collaterals
  • Maintain and grow direct business relationships with key customers, partners,
    Tier1s and OEMs
  • Reporting the business segment status (commercial, projects, other) to the BL
    management and other defined company functions
  • Closely aligning the topics and responsibilities above with the Director for Technical
    Sales and Business Development, assuring a full enablement of successful product
    sales
  • Collecting and analyzing all relevant information regarding possible new products
    from the market, catch on market trends, customer needs, competition actions and
    other external or internal sources
  • Evaluating, aligning and pushing new NPI´s (new product introductions) to the
    segment roadmap
  • Management and further development of subordinate employees (Product
    Architect and Application Engineers)
